MEET ABDULLAH
Hi, I'm Abdullah Alobaidi, founder of Fast Fuel Vending. I grew up in the Chicago area and I still live here. Fast Fuel is run out of Des Plaines, which means when you call, you are calling a real person a few miles away, not a national service center in another state.
The honest story is this. Years ago I worked at a place where the vending machine was a daily punchline. Half the buttons did nothing, the chips were always stale, and the drink fridge had been broken for months. Whoever owned the machines was impossible to reach. I started looking into how vending actually works and realized the bar was embarrassingly low. A local operator who showed up, answered the phone, and cared about the product mix could run circles around the big guys.
So in 2020 I started Fast Fuel with one machine, one route, and a very simple promise. If you call me, I pick up. If something breaks, I fix it the same day. If your team asks for a product, I get it on the next restock. That is still how we operate today, just with more machines and more clients.
I am also a Muslim, and that shapes how I run this business. Honesty is not a marketing word for us. It is a religious obligation. If a machine is not the right fit for your space, I will tell you. If a product is not selling, we swap it. And if a client wants a strictly halal stocked machine, we have a separate vetted product list for that, which is why several Chicagoland masjids and Muslim owned workplaces work with us.
